What Is The Encouraging Blogger Award?
The Encouraging Blogger Award was created to recognize any blogger who encourages others with his or her posts. Bloggers may encourage others to travel, try new things, have a positive mindset, or overcome adversity, for example. An encouraging blog may encourage other bloggers or give business tips. Many blogs are encouraging and we don’t even realize it. Bloggers nominate fellow bloggers for this award, and nominees write a post answering a few questions. After that, the nominee nominates other bloggers.
Who Nominated CrazyFitnessGuy?
I was nominated by Cindy who runs a website called Cindy Goes Beyond which is a website about Life’s Journey that features a new theme each year. Her desire is to encourage readers to live a life beyond the edges of fear, comfort zones, and limiting beliefs.
Thanks to Cindy for nominating me and my blog it’s truly an honor to get nominated for an award. There are some days when I feel like giving up because something is not going right but readers and bloggers like you keep me going.
When Did I Start Blogging?
I officially started blogging on April 12th, 2017. However, this was not my first attempt at blogging. The very first blog I tried was a food critic but that didn’t work so well especially because I was trying to blog on Facebook.
The next blog I tried after that was a movie reviewer still on Facebook and that was a bust. After that, I tried being a photography blog but that didn’t keep me interested. Then around the 8th time, I had one blog that I thought was doing well but it was just full of negative energy.
I basically complained about everything on that website. I am not going to bother mentioning the name because I am trying to forget about that website. So I finally gave up that website and quit for a year and then for the 9th try I started this website.
But it was known as a different name at the time back in 2017 but I can’t share the name with anyone because by accident it infringed upon another website name. To be fair I didn’t know there were internet laws with trademarks and copyright. I knew there were symbols but I didn’t know what they meant.
Why Did I Start Blogging?
I started blogging because I wanted to continue practicing the writing skills that I learned in my writing class in college. If I was going to continue writing I wanted a way that kept me consistent and not just writing in Microsoft Office in my free time.
So I started blogging so I can show up consistently every week to practice and maintain the writing skills that I never had until I was in college.
What Is My Blog About?
For those of you who are new to my website, my blog is about my experience with health and wellness through Autistic eyes. I believe everyone does stuff differently like training, sleeping, eating different foods, etc.
Every week I share with everyone on my website about different topics like Autism, self-help, managing stress, nutrition, and lifestyle.
What Are My Favorite Blogging Tools?
My favorite tools for blogging are:

Mind map this tool helps me create a nice mindmap to jot my ideas down for each blog post
Hootsuite for social media marketing to publish directly to Instagram
Dlvr. it to keep my feed active while I am asleep and it can post to google my business
Grammarly because grammar stresses me out and Google docs can barely pick up on errors
Loola.tv is great for live videos across multiple platforms at once
Canva because it helps me create Pinterest images
Bitly for helping me shorten my links and sharing on the go
Squarespace because they make it possible for me to do everything else for my website while they take care of the maintenance on the backend
What Is My Advice For Other Bloggers?
I am only speaking from experience when I tell you there will be days that you feel like giving up. The people around you might not understand what the life of a blogger looks like. People have a misconception about blogging that it’s only about personal stuff.
Well, they are wrong because all the brands around the web have blogs and they include information material. Some of those blogs include blog posts about new app updates etc. The definition of blogging has changed and no matter what people think, just prove them wrong.
Start telling the people in your life about the traffic, stats, and subscribers interacting with your content. If they don’t believe you start showing proof with screenshots, data, etc. For those people who don’t believe you after that stop trying to be a people pleaser.
You should only care what you think and if you want to run a blog then who cares what other people think. They will be people who don’t think of what you do as a job, just ignore them and let the proof talk for itself.
What Are My Future Goals For My Website And Brand?
My goals for my website is to:
Promote my public speaking events on my website
Have people and organizations book speaking events with me
Continue to blog
Have a library filled with videos with me giving different speeches
I also want to be an Autism advocate helping those on and off the Autism Spectrum
I want to travel the world speaking at large events spreading motivation to everyone

The blog first originated as a goal for how we wanted to raise them. We feel we will succeed as parents if our kids one day become healthy, happy, and impactful people. They also share awesome tips to eat healthy on a budget. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be expensive.
Laura started Her reduction-based journey almost five years ago when she was pregnant with her son. It started out as a simple decluttering project and quickly turned into so much more. Since then, her family and she have decluttered over 140 large boxes of stuff, reduced their waste by 35lbs a week, said ‘no’ to things that don’t bring them joy, and they managed to finally get to a point where they can be proactive with her anxiety instead of constantly being reactive.
your toolkit for raising happy, balanced children. If you are concerned about your kids feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, moody, or uninterested in life and wondering what you can do about it, you have come to the right place. I like that this mom gives practical tips for raising an Autism kid.
The Happiness Agreement
Britney created The Happiness Agreement to find the true meaning of happiness and I think everyone needs more positivity in life.
Patricia Prince started the Pink Ribbon Runner after she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She then reconstructed her life and started eating healthy and lost 90 pounds. Even though I am not a runner she makes running sound fun.
Elizebeth will teach you how to develop and implement a healthy lifestyle without causing it to consume your thoughts or add stress to your life. She wants to walk through this journey with you as an accountability partner, friend, and resource. Her recipes look delicious just look at her Instagram feed.
Together we can share stories on our family, travels, adventures and Midwest living. Please join me as I attempt to balance all the beautiful chaos my life brings one cup of coffee at a time. I can appreciate this blog because I believe all of our lives are full of chaos at times.
