Media is one of the most influential forms of communication in our society. It can have a positive or negative effect on mental health, depending on how it is used and who is using it. Some research suggests that exposure to negative media images can lead to depression, while exposure to positive media images has been linked with increased self-esteem and happiness. There are also a number of studies indicating that the way people use media can have a significant impact on their mental health.
