Dr. Stan Ward discovered the importance of stress management after battling a 2-year mystery illness that resulted in multiple hospital stays and emergency room visits because of bowl obstructions.
He has now combined what he learned from his treatment time at the Mayo Clinic along with other best practices to help leaders manage stress, resolve conflict, avoid burnout, and create sustainable positive changes.
He is also the author of How to Beat Burnout for Yourself, Your Family, and Your Team. In his free time he enjoys practicing Tai Chi, walking his daughter's dogs (a chore he seems to have inherited ...), and playing ukulele
