Welcome to another episode of Crazy Fitness Guy, Healthy Living Podcast
0:04
Today I got my friend Len De Carmine on the show. He is a coach
0:10
He's a co-host and co-creator of the extraordinary being movement. And so he's going to talk a little bit of his podcast
0:21
And we're just going to take it from there. Welcome, Len. Jimmy, thank you so much for letting me be here
0:30
it's an honor I know I've had you on our show being a crazy fitness guy that you are
0:37
you brought in so much insight and information and I appreciate you
0:41
bringing me on your show so I can help entertain and educate your viewers as well
0:48
so thank you so much I appreciate that absolutely welcome so tell me a little bit
0:55
who you are so the audience can yeah yeah Let me share a little bit about that
1:02
First and foremost, my name is Len to Carmine. I'm a co-creator, co-host, and a coach with a company that I created called the
1:11
Extraordinary Being Movement. And the Extraordinary Being Movement is a movement, is actually a global movement where we empower
1:20
people for personal development and achievement. And our goal is to take a stand for people who feel that they can't take
1:29
a stand for themselves just yet. We want to show them that there is resources out there
1:35
and support systems to help them overcome certain issues or certain perceptions or misbelief
1:42
such as limiting beliefs, such as fear, things, you know, how to grow a business. And we
1:47
interview people all over the world who share their insight, their journey on how they go
1:53
about doing this. So our goal with every single one of our podcast shows is to inspire, to influence
1:59
and to motivate people for success. And not only that, do we have a podcast show
2:05
but we also do coaching, we have online training, we do live and virtual events
2:10
And right now we're working on our own book to bring out there to the public
2:15
to help them understand a little bit more about themselves and to learn our four pillars
2:21
which is awareness, growth, action, and impact. And with that, we're going to be creating a virtual summit
2:28
that we're going to be launching towards the end of the year. So we're very excited about that
2:31
We got a lot on our plate. And we just want to just take people with us on this journey for success
2:40
And that's, you know, look about me and what we're up to. So here's a question for you
2:46
How do you define success? Success. That's a great question. Success is, I can't define success because my view of success is different than your view
2:58
Jimmy, it's different than the person listening to this show or watching this episode
3:03
You have to define success within the lifestyle that you desire. Success means to you being a millionaire, then that's what your goal is that you want to
3:12
work on and accomplish. Some people don't want to be millionaires. They just want to have peace in their life and live a very minimalistic lifestyle
3:21
To them, that success. So success is defined by you as the individual on how you
3:28
you want to see your life and the lifestyle you want to build. And how did you come up with the name, Extraordinary Beam Movement
3:37
I love it, Jimmy. I appreciate you asking that. The extraordinary being movement is a little bit of play on words
3:48
So my view is that a lot of people in life feel that they're ordinary
3:54
And we want to elevate people and create this. movement so that you can feel and be extraordinary on your terms, however that looks
4:05
So the extraordinary being movement is us helping you become that best version of yourself
4:13
But you need to learn how to be. Who do you have to learn first how to be the being that you are
4:19
See, a lot of people think they need to have things, like a fancy car, money, in order to be somebody
4:25
But you need to learn how to be. first. You need to learn that self-awareness
4:30
Understand what you want in life, what's your big why is. And learn to be the person you need to be in order to do the things you need to do
4:38
to have that success, that lifestyle, those things that you want in the long term
4:45
So we use the concept of be, do, do, and have. You need to be in order to do to have what you want
4:52
So that's what the extraordinary being moved is about. you know, motivating people to stop thinking and being ordinary and learn to live a life
5:01
of being extraordinary, but on their terms, not on our terms or anybody else's
5:07
Because we all have our own perspective, our beliefs and our values of what extraordinary
5:11
is, what our lifestyles are meant to be. So we want to just empower you and however you see that fit for yourself
5:19
It's kind of like I kind of relate to that because I know for myself some days I feel like I comparing myself to others And when I saw a few people on my Facebook group or actually not my Facebook group but on my Facebook feed
5:42
Some of my friends were like, hey, guess what I'm doing here? And this one person doing a live speaking event that he hasn't done in a year because it's a pandemic
5:55
And I would love to be able to speak on stage in public, but no one has wanted me yet
6:02
And by I was like, man, this is not my time yet
6:07
Well, Jimmy, you just got to put yourself out there. And that's one of our pillars through our movement is about taking action
6:15
And if you want to get on stage, you'll be surprised that there are a lot of people looking for a wonderful speaker like yourself to get out there and share the message
6:26
You just need to find the right avenues, the right resources to get on those stages
6:31
And there's plenty out there that you can get yourself on to additional podcast shows
6:36
to be part of speaking events, and so forth. You just need to take a little time to research and find those
6:42
But they're out there, buddy. You can do it. I definitely know that
6:46
Yeah. Like I give you some examples. I've reached out to local media
6:52
Still haven't heard anything from them yet. But I was like, who knows
6:55
I could get something during the summer for all. I have nowhere because they probably get a lot of resources
7:01
request every single day. I can, I don't think I want to be that person, like reading through all those emails
7:10
Sure. Well, you can also go now to your local gym and talk to them about, say, hey, would you mind
7:15
if I put on in a free event here to help, you know, educate people about fitness
7:23
You don't have to be on a big venue to speak. You can be on smaller venues and, you know, maybe go to a Toastmasters group or a
7:30
Ornery Club, Kiwanas, some of those local groups within your area, because they're always
7:36
looking for speakers to talk about various things. And they will probably welcome you in to talk
7:42
about, you know, fitness or health or success, whatever the topic is. That's a great way to start
7:49
And so how many years have you been running this extraordinary beam movement
7:57
We've been running this now for three years. We started off as just a podcast with three guys just talking about dating, women, relationships
8:08
you know, things of that nature. And as we started to reach more people, started talking to more professionals
8:14
we're like, let's just grow this to something bigger. Because all three of us are on a journey and still are to find success, to find happiness
8:26
to find that balance. and we wanted to take more people with us on this journey
8:31
So we expanded it into a global movement and people have been loving it
8:35
We've been getting a lot of positive feedback from this movement that people can really get around and support
8:44
And that's what we wanted to do, to find something that somebody that people can support
8:48
and see the benefits of working together as a collaboration to support people to finding their dreams
8:56
to reaching their goals to live the lifestyle that they wish to live
9:01
And what are some of your dreams, if you don't mind me asking
9:06
Oh, Jimmy, I appreciate you asking you that. I have a number
9:11
I mean, my biggest dream right now is to really make the extraordinary being movement
9:17
I name brand to get it out there so people understand what we're doing
9:22
and really support us and really grow our business. me personally, I'm looking to really leave a legacy behind
9:30
You know, I want to leave something behind for the world, for my children, so that they can, you know, continuing on and, you know
9:40
and supporting people and helping them grow. And that's, you know, one of my big long-term goals
9:47
You know, I always have all those little materialistic goals, like we all have it
9:52
you know, get a bigger house, you know. We're awesome studio equipment, a nicer car, things of that nature, you know, money in my bank account, you know, growing constantly
10:04
But for me, it's really leaving that impact. How can I leave the world a better place
10:11
And that's what my big why is. That's my big motivation in my life personally and also for our company
10:19
I know I have a few of those two. I wouldn't say I would want a huge big house because sometimes those big houses have huge
10:30
ceilings in some particular rooms and then there's no way you can change a light bulb in there
10:37
and like how does anyone want to change a light bulb in a 22 foot ceiling
10:43
Sure. You have to be like Tarzan or Spider-Man or doesn't work very well
10:50
No, I get it. Yeah, I can sometimes I wonder too how they get up there, but they have somebody to help them out
10:56
You know, somebody with a really tall ladder or some type of equipment to get those really high light bulbs and the dust on those high ceilings
11:05
Yeah. And so that like if I had a big house I would I would try to keep it to like maybe maybe a 10 ceiling maybe somewhere around there not super high because it like I don want to change it
11:23
Sure, no, I don't blame you. I don't blame you. I think my other, I can, I also agree with you about leaving a legacy as well because, like, maybe not something my own kids would want to continue
11:40
like the brand name, but just to, like, I always believe that people should be
11:49
to help each other. Like, you know, like, I don't know if you're familiar with their flash or this kind of
11:56
shows, but I was like, everybody should just help everybody. And it's like, it shouldn't just be like, oh, well, I'm in a busy day
12:06
I'm not going to help you. Sure. Really? I was like there's always some helpful gesture you can do
12:13
holding a door for someone just a little bit goes every way
12:19
Yes, and I'm big on that. You know, that's something I try to really pay attention to
12:24
is holding the door for somebody because that little act of kindness can make a difference in some of these lives
12:31
who might be a little depressed in the moment or might be contemplating suicide
12:35
because they feel like nobody's kind in the world. So I always try to make my effort of holding the door for somebody, doing those little acts of kindness
12:44
Maybe I have to grocery store, getting their cart if I know I'm walking back up and they're done with their groceries
12:50
Just little things like that can make a difference in the world. And where do you see your extraordinary being movement in the next, let's say, five, 10 years
13:02
Oh, Jimmy, I see this as a huge, just as a huge company where we have coaches working underneath us
13:13
We're doing live events. We're working with some top names in the industry
13:19
And we're making a huge impact working together with these people in collaboration to change the world
13:26
And I know I'm going to see you on stage with us, Jimmy. You know, as we're growing up, I
13:32
I'm going to, you know, reach out to you and have you join us on things as they come up so that you can also get out there more yourself and, you know, continue with us on our movement, on the journey because you're an individual like yourself is on a journey too in your life to find whatever you're looking for
13:50
And we want to make sure that we can support you as well in any way we can. I would definitely appreciate that
13:55
Yeah, I bet. I don't know if I don't know if I ever tell you my like where I want to be in the next five, ten years
14:06
Jimmy, I would love to hear it. For me, I don't know if I want to grow into a business, but I want to, I mean, it is a business of itself, but I want it to be in my platform, but I would like to hire some writers
14:24
not like a boatload of writers, but maybe like one or two and hire them like here, I'll hire you buy projects
14:34
So if I have another blog post, I hire you for it. But if I don't have another blog post and I have time to write it, I'll write it
14:42
And I'll stay with the podcasting and whatnot. But I want to be able to travel around the world and speak at many different events
14:54
be great. And even if I didn't hire someone, I still just want to hire someone just to help me
15:03
manage the website because just like updating content when it needs to update because I'm actually
15:12
going back. You're going to find this insane. But yeah, I went through old crazy fitness guys profiles
15:18
the other day. I counted about 40 profiles. Wow. It's not just on social media. I'm like
15:24
I'm scared. That's a lot. That's a lot. You got to keep them narrowed down just to accuse you so you'll get
15:31
so you can work on that and make sure that they, you know, are done professionally and it's kept nicely so that people can keep reaching out to you
15:40
Well, this was, like this was, like I said, most of them were just on just like local business listings
15:50
And so it was just they're not consistent. description and so I'm just updating those and so good now I'm having like a nice gallery view of
16:00
the descriptions like oh I had to update that one and update that one perfect but it was like
16:06
I didn't know how I had so money I was like I knew I had some top number but like
16:11
yeah see they creep on because next thing you know you're signed up to things and you get a whole
16:18
bunch you don't realize it but yes it's important to keep your brand your mess is consistent
16:22
among all those different sites so that people know who you are and how to reach you
16:28
and know what you're up to and what you're about. Definitely. So just our curiosity, where, so how many people around the world have listened to your podcast
16:48
I haven looked up the latest statistics but we do know that from the world map that we see from our podcast show We get a lot of people from India We have people from Japan and China
17:00
We have people from Russia, you know, all over the globe listening to us down in Mexico and Brazil
17:09
So it's exciting to see that. We're making that world impact. And it's always helpful as well, having people from those various countries
17:17
those regions on our show too because that brings our reach so that we can get the movement
17:23
into other people so they can learn more about it and take it on as well to take a stand for
17:29
others and make a difference in the world definitely it's funny um i just said that because my i mean
17:36
about the listeners part because like i've been listened to in seven different countries yeah
17:43
I had Japan, India, also France. Somehow I'm big in France, which I'm surprised
17:54
And it's like, I don't know how to take this. I really appreciate that all the people listen to me
18:01
but I was like, I thought France would be one of them. Yeah, you'd be surprised
18:06
I know our podcast is on an Indian, I'm sorry, I'm trying to, a platform, you know, it's on a platform in India
18:20
And so I know we're reaching a lot of people there. We do promote our show onto a platform in that country
18:27
So that's probably why we have a lot of listeners who are picking up from there as well
18:33
So it's really important to get your podcast on these various platforms in these other countries
18:38
to broaden your reach so that other people can hear about you
18:43
Definitely. And that's why I always tell our listeners here, our crazy fitness guy, if you can't find us on a certain platform that you use every single day, send me in message. I'll definitely put it on the platform
18:58
That's right. It doesn't take that long. No, no. And there's, you know, thousands of platforms now out there. So it's, you know, you need to get on as many of those as possible to reach
19:10
You know, I think, like, it'd be really nice that there was, like, just one, that just sends it out to the thousands of platforms out there
19:18
There are a few, yeah, there are a few that do send it out to many. I know the platform that we use, they do help us, you know
19:26
get us on all the major ones and a number of the smaller ones as well
19:31
So it all depends on what program you're using. But there are a few out there that can assist you
19:36
Awesome. And before we wrap up, where can people find you across the web
19:42
Sure. If anybody is looking to learn more about the extraordinary being movement and our
19:47
global movement to empower people for personal growth and achievement, they can reach us
19:53
at the extraordinary being movement.com. That's our website. There you can learn more about
19:59
our company, our services that we provide, our podcast shows. You can even list to Jimmy's
20:04
podcast show that we have that we did not too long ago on there as well. We're on all
20:11
social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and whatever else comes out, you can always find
20:17
us there at the Extraordinary Being movement. So please reach out. We're looking for more guests
20:23
We're going to be doing a summit soon. And we'd like to hear from you. We'd like to share our
20:27
message with you and see how we can take a stamp for you in your life. Awesome. And real quick
20:34
I like to add. It's, um, um, what's, uh, I know. I know
20:41
is for on your podcast our episode together feels like it was a lifetime ago
20:49
it does sometimes we do pre-record our shows and then we send them out there
20:57
but we do it does feel that way at times but you know it's great to
21:04
relive that episode again to hear that message you hear that thing and that's why I try to
21:09
emphasize with people go back and listen to our podcast shows over and over again
21:14
Listen to Jimmy's podcast show and the previous guest he's had on because there's
21:18
little nuggets of information that you may not have hurt at first, but if you re-listen
21:24
to it again, you might pick up something new that can change your life. Definitely
21:29
And what I meant by, it just felt like it was like a lifetime ago is because it just, I've been
21:38
so far, I've been on 65 different podcast. cast guest appearances. I'm like, I've lost track of how long ago each episode was. And it's like
21:49
sure. And when somebody says like, hey, Jimmy, here's your episode. And it's like, when was this
21:54
posted? I'm confused. I know. I totally get it. Yes, it does feel like a time, a long time ago
22:01
But we loved having you on our guest. And I hope you did have a good time with us. And I definitely
22:09
I definitely appreciate you having me on as a guest today as well
22:13
So thank you, Jerry. Awesome. And I hope we can have you again on our podcast in the future
22:21
Of course. Of course, I'm looking forward to collaborating with you on future events and opportunities
22:27
Definitely. And let's stay in time
