LD Chen is an entrepreneur whose near-death experience in his early 30s turned him into a philosopher. A fourth-generation lineage holder of Dacheng Quan(a Chinese martial art), and a disciple of Grandmaster Yu Hongkun, he serves as the Head Coach of the Oneness Institute for America and Europe.
Having suffered throughout his childhood and youth in China from an array of debilitating illnesses, including asthma, liver disease, chronic back pain, leg numbness, anxiety, and burnout, LD spent his first decades of life on a quest for healing. Despite enjoying all the outward trappings of success as a husband and father who had built a successful, multi-million-dollar clothing company from the ground up, he found himself in a state of despair. After a heart attack at age 32, he visited countless doctors looking for medical solutions. He also practiced meditation and Tai Chi. Nothing worked.
It was only when he discovered Oneness, that LD’s life transformed. The complete healing of mind and body that he experienced as a direct result of this simple yet powerful ancient wellness practice gave him a renewed sense of vitality and ignited his life purpose. Under the guidance of Grandmaster Yu Hongkun, renowned throughout China, LD began teaching Oneness to other people. He witnessed them experiencing similarly profound transformations and became determined to help share the practice beyond the borders of his native country.
In 2019, LD immigrated to the United States with his family and enrolled in the Executive MBA program at the NYU Stern School of Business. Now, he is on a mission to introduce one million Westerners to Oneness, so that they might heal their physical ailments, elevate their mental health, and bring more peace and happiness to the world.
