Today was Liift4 back and biceps workout. My favorite kind of workout, but towards the end of the workout I felt like my biceps will burst out of my skin. Find out why.

During Liift4 Back And Biceps Workout 50/50

During in Liift4 back and biceps workout 50/50 it started like this. The first block of exercise were two exercises and we started with all back exercises. Then the second block of exercises was all bicep exercises. By the time we got to the second block my back and biceps were going to pop through my skin, I kid you not.

What Weights Did I use In This Liift4 Back And Biceps Workout?

I used 25, 15, 12, and 10 pound weights. I went up in weight for one of the back exercises. For one of the bicep workouts I stuck with 15 pound weights, and then on the 3rd set I jumped down to 12 and 10 pound weights because my arms couldn’t hold the weights anymore.

How Did I Do This Liift4 Back And Biceps Workout?

In my opinion I felt like I pushed myself past my comfort zone. Even though I did not see a big increase in weights I felt good to jump to 25 pound weights though. I had a thought in my head the other day that I wanted to share with everyone.

I have to admit there are some days during this workout that I feel discourage. The reason why some of these exercises in this workout discourages me is because when I use to go to the gym I was doing some of the similar exercises, but with heavier weights.

However, even though I was lifting heavy weights I was not using correct form. So far in this program Joel Freeman taught me how to correctly lift weights. I remember Autumn Calebrese saying in the 80 Day Obsession workouts “it doesn’t matter how heavy you lift, as long as you have correct form you will build bigger muscles.” Those are not her exact words, but it went something like that.

So how to stay popular in the Liift4 back and biceps workout world? I would say just focus on correct form and stick with the program. It’s a marathon not a sprint, I am in this for the long run so it may take me a few more weeks to bump up in weights. That’s how you stay motivated and popular in these types of workouts.

Conclusion:

I felt like I did very well during this workout because I bumped up in weights, and I had correct form. It’s easy to get discourage in a workout like this if you used to lift heavy weights in a gym before, but then when you realize you were lifting with wrong from you don’t feel so bad after all. Just remember it’s a marathon not a sprint.
