There are many side effects of having bad posture.  I learned about those side effects in my yoga class last semester in college.  It got me thinking about how I can keep good posture throughout my life.  So that's what I am going to be talking about today in this post.  I am going to be talking about bad posture back pain.  I will also provide some awesome ways on how to correct bad posture.

Side Effects Of Bad Posture?

According to Allied Travel Careers, there are eight negative side effects of having bad posture.  Here are the eight side effects of having bad posture according to Allied Travel Careers.

  • Soreness and Pain - Slouching is not a normal sitting position. Slouching can come with long-term health side effects like soreness and pain. Chronic soreness will cause lower back pain after a while.

  • Poor Circulation - They say sitting crossed legged is the proper way to sit, however sitting that way can cause lower back pain and it can also cause spider veins.

  • Negative Mood - Good posture fights depression, while bad posture invites it into your life. There was a report has done that showed people who sat with bad posture had lower self-esteem and more fear than with people who sat with good posture.

  • Increased Stress - People who slouch can be very stressed at times.

  • Less Motivation - Having bad posture can hurt your confidence which hurts your motivation.

  • Poor Digestion - when you slouch over you are basically suffocating your organs which help digest your food. Having bad posture can lead to poor digestion.

  • Fatigue - Having bad posture can also make you more tired during the day.

How To Improve Bad Posture?

Having bad posture doesn't mean you have to live with it for the rest of your life.  There are a lot of ways to improve your bad posture habits.  Here are some good ways to improve your bad posture.

What Do I personally Use?
