Finished Day 3 Of Week 4 Of Liift4 - Shoulder Workouts With Weights
Today I finished shoulder workouts with weights. Honestly they feel like boulders on my body because of the soreness. Your shoulders may feel sore after reading this post.
During Round One OF Shoulder Workouts With Weights
There were three exercises in the first round. The first three exercises were:
At the end of the two weightlifting exercises then comes the hiit exercise. Next time when I do the speed skaters I might have to move the weights to a different spot. They got in my way.
During Round Two Of Shoulder Workouts With Weights
The next three exercises that were in round two were:
I skipped the shoulder press because the last time I tried shoulder press it was going to deep in my neck. The shoulder fly I used 8 pound dumbbells because that was a very tricky move. I modified during the squat jumps so I don’t hurt my knees.
During Round Three Of Shoulder Workouts With Weights
The last three exercises were:
Upright Row 20 pound dumbbells
Swimmers 5 and 8 pound dumbbells
I used 5 and 8 pound dumbbells for the swimmers. I tried one round with the 8 pounds but then on the last two sets I went to 5 pounds because that exercise is hard enough already with just 5 pounds.
During The Core Round In Shoulder Workouts With Weights
I need to improve my reaching sit up because I felt like I wasn’t going straight up in the air. I felt like I was going vertical.
While I Was Modifying During The Hiit Exercises In Shoulder Workouts With Weights
While I was modifying during the hiit exercises I noticed that I was going faster this time around, which was pretty motivating in my opinion.
No Burnout Round During Shoulder Exercises With Weights
There was no burnout round during shoulder exercises with weights. I was so glad because my shoulders were fried after the swimmer exercise.
I have been seeing improvements with my pushups at Karate. I can finally do military style pushups with the correct form and without stopping. Little more motivation to help keep me going through another four weeks of this program.
I absolutely hate the swimmer exercise in the shoulder workouts with weights, but I love the way I feel when I look at myself in the mirror while brushing my teeth. Feeling motivated to keep pushing through the next 4 weeks because I have seen improvements with my pushups and in my shoulders.
